hi, i'm claire!

i'm a graphic designer by day,
and an illustrator in all of the hours i have leftover.i love bringing stories to life through stylized illustration. the focus of my style is on bold and geometric linework paired with limited color palettes, romantic compositions and fantasy themes. i also enjoy using my layout design experience to create polished and professional book covers with custom typography.when i don't have a canvas in front of me, you can find me with my nose in a fantasy book, in the middle of a D&D campaign, or extensively researching cafes to visit on my next trip.

pricing + rates

all of the prices listed below are my starting commercial rates.
for large-scale distribution or merchandise licensing, these rates are subject to increase.

character art

$200+

illustration of one or two characters with a simple or abstract background.

scene illustration

$300+

scenes with a large cast of characters and/or highly detailed background artwork

comic illustration

$200+

first page: $200 (up to 6 panels)
additional pages/panels: $25 per panel

cover art

$500+

cover rates are highly dependent on the subject matter being featured on the cover, and the amount of custom typography and layout design needed. please reach out to me for a direct quote!

book design

map design: $300
endpaper art: $500
chapter break art: $150

timeline

standard turnaround time per project is one month. i typically book anywhere from 1 to 3 months in advance due to limited availability, so please reach out to me at least one month ahead of time with your project requests!

payment

standard payments are handled as invoices, and can be paid via card, Paypal transfer or bank transfer.
i ask all independent clients for a 50% deposit upfront and the remaining 50% when the piece is completed.
for publishing houses and book boxes, reach out to confirm alternate payment methods.
