character art

illustration of your character(s) in a portrait, half-body or full-body pose with a flat background color.

single character:

scene illustration

illustration of a scene with characters / subjects in a fully-detailed background environment.

base price:
$150+

ranges based on the complexity of the environment and number of subjects featured.

books + covers

illustrated book covers with custom typography and design. commercial license included.

front cover art:

full wrap cover / jacket art:
$400

typography & layout design:

comic adaptation

a comic illustration of your scene of choice. limit of 9 panels on a single page.

monochrome (b+w) page:
$150

full color page:
$200

my process

commisions are booked in monthly slots. i typically have 2-3 slots available per month.

confirmation + deposit

deposit invoices are sent out in the week leading up to the new month. to confirm your slot, your deposit must be paid by the first day of your scheduled month.

sketches

in the first week of the month, you'll receive 2-3 composition sketches for your piece, choosing one for me to move forward with.

illustration

once a sketch is approved, I'll begin detail work on the illustration. the typical turnaround time is 1-2 weeks from sketch to finished illustration.

previews

i'll send you a preview of your piece, giving you a chance to request any final changes before the piece is finished!

delivery

when the piece is complete, i'll send out your remaining payment invoice. then i'll send the full-resolution images and/or files your way!

commercial use & licensing

if you'd like to commission a piece for commercial use (to sell prints of, use on a physical product/book design, or use in monetized content), you can request a commercial use license for your piece.

commercial illustrations will have a 50% increase to the base price as a licensing fee.
(ex: $100 illustration project has $50 licensing fee, totaling $150)

large-scale projects like comics will have a flat commercial fee determined based on the project scope.

payment method

all payments are invoiced via PayPal, and can be paid via card, paypal transfer or bank transfer. i ask all clients for a 50% deposit upfront and the remaining 50% when the piece is completed.
